Privacy policy.

Last updated: May 17, 2026

This policy explains how FloodValve Pros Ontario collects, uses, stores, and discloses information submitted through homeowner and contractor forms.

What we collect

For homeowner requests, we collect the information you submit: name, email, phone, city, property type, ownership or authorization status, work-started status, rebate status, service scope, timeline, notes, and consent choices. We may also collect attribution data such as landing page, referrer, campaign parameters, and basic analytics events.

Why we collect it

We use homeowner information to review rebate-readiness, respond to the request, score whether the request appears contractor-ready, prevent spam or abuse, maintain operational records, and improve the site.

Contractor sharing and paid referrals

If you submit a homeowner request and check the consent box, you authorize FloodValve Pros Ontario to disclose your contact and project details to relevant participating contractors for the purpose of responding to your request. Contractors may pay FloodValve Pros Ontario for lead routing, placement, sponsorship, or introductions. We do not disclose homeowner contact details to contractors without this consent.

Who may receive information

Information may be processed by service providers we use for hosting, lead storage, email delivery, analytics, and operations, such as Vercel, database or blob storage providers, email providers, and Airtable if configured. These providers process information for operational purposes. Contractors who receive a routed request are independent businesses and are responsible for their own privacy and service practices.

Commercial messages

We may send messages that respond to your request or confirm receipt. We do not add homeowners to unrelated marketing lists from a rebate-check submission. If we send commercial electronic messages beyond the request context, we will rely on consent or another lawful basis and include identification and unsubscribe information where required.

Retention

We retain lead and contractor records only as long as reasonably needed for request handling, contractor routing, quality tracking, legal or compliance records, fraud prevention, and business operations. You can request deletion or correction, subject to legal, security, or operational limits.

Withdrawal, access, and correction

You may withdraw consent to contractor sharing, ask what information we hold, request correction, or request deletion by contacting us. If you withdraw consent, we may be unable to route your request to contractors.

Municipal status

FloodValve Pros Ontario is not affiliated with any city, municipality, region, utility, or government rebate program. We do not guarantee rebate approval, contractor quality, permits, inspections, workmanship, or reimbursement.
